GetZuga Master Services Agreement

Version 1.5 · GZ-08-0003 · Last updated 15 September 2026

These are the universal terms. They apply to everyone who uses GetZuga, in every market.

They are not the whole agreement. A Country Schedule for the market you registered in names the company you are contracting with, the law that governs it, and the courts that hear a dispute. Read it with this document — it is short, and it is linked at the end of section 1.

1. How these terms fit together

Three things make up your agreement with us, and they are read in this order.

1. The law where you live. Some rights cannot be signed away. Where anything below conflicts with a law that protects you, that law wins — and nothing in this agreement is intended to reduce a right you have under it.

2. Your Country Schedule. The market-specific part: who you contract with, which law applies, which courts, local consumer rules, tax treatment, and how to complain. Where your Schedule differs from this document, your Schedule wins for your market.

3. This Master Services Agreement. Everything that is the same everywhere.

Where a service has its own terms — a specific product or feature — those apply to that service, and your Country Schedule still outranks them.

Your Country Schedule is the one for the market you registered in, and it is published alongside this document:

2. Who you are contracting with

The company named in your Country Schedule, and which Schedule applies to you is decided by the market you chose when you registered.

That market is fixed when you register. It sets your currency, how your trips are priced, and which company you are contracting with. It does not follow you around — travelling does not change your agreement, and it does not change your currency.

We have deliberately not sent you to a foreign court. Your Schedule names the courts of the country whose company you are contracting with, because you should be able to bring a claim where you live rather than face a clause that looks strong and may simply be unenforceable.

3. What we do — and what we do not do

GetZuga connects riders with drivers. We provide the booking, the routing, the messaging, the ratings and the support around a trip.

For the trips we offer today, the driver provides the transport and we do not. The trip is a service the driver supplies to you. We do not employ the driver, and the vehicle is not ours.

Where you pay a driver in cash, that money passes from you to the driver directly and never reaches us.

There is one exception, and we are telling you about it before it exists rather than after. If a trip is ever provided in a vehicle GetZuga itself owns, then for that trip GetZuga is the transport provider and we are answerable for the trip itself — not only for the platform. We do not operate any such vehicle today. If that changes, we will tell you which kind of trip you are booking before you book it, and your Country Schedule will say so.

Why this is in the terms rather than buried: it decides who is answerable for what, and section 12 depends on it.

4. Where the service is available

GetZuga works in the market you registered in. Your trips are priced in that market's currency, at that market's rates, and are matched to drivers in that market.

If you travel to another country, the service will not book a trip for you there — even a country where GetZuga operates. We would rather tell you that plainly than let you find out at the kerb.

We may make the service available in other markets we operate in. If we do, we will tell you which terms apply.

5. Who may use the service

The service is intended for adults. We do not currently verify anyone's age when you register, and we would rather tell you that than state a minimum we do not check. Registration asks for a name, phone number, email and country; it does not ask for a date of birth.

So this is a term you are agreeing to rather than a check we perform. You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live.

Drivers are separate. Driving requires a licence and carrying passengers requires a permit, and both carry age requirements set by the authority that issues them rather than by us.

You must give us accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and use one account per person.

6. Your account

Keep your PIN and your sign-in details to yourself. Trips booked from your account are treated as yours.

Tell us promptly if you think somebody else has access to it.

7. The fare

You are shown a price before you confirm, and that is the price for the trip you booked.

The step that takes the money refuses an amount larger than the one you agreed to. So anything more than the figure you accepted requires us to ask you again, whatever the reason. That is a mechanism rather than a promise — it is how the payment path is built.

If you change the trip — a new destination, an added stop — you are agreeing a new price, and we will show it to you.

Traffic, a detour or a wrong turn are ours to absorb, not yours.

A cash fare is recorded and settled between you and the driver.

8. Your GetZuga balance

Credit in your GetZuga balance is promotional credit we issue at our own cost. You have not paid us for it, and it is not money we are holding for you.

It cannot be exchanged for cash. It cannot be transferred to another account or another person. It may expire.

It can only be used in the market that issued it. Credit issued in one country is not spendable in another.

Driver earnings are different and they are yours. They are recorded in the ledger and paid out.

The ledger is append-only. Entries are never edited; a correction is a new entry. A negative balance must be settled, and an account in arrears cannot be deleted until it is — we will tell you that is the reason.

9. Your licence to use our apps

We give you permission to use the GetZuga apps, and that is all we give you. The permission is personal to you, does not transfer, and lasts as long as your account does.

The apps, the software behind them, the name and the logos remain ours. Nothing here gives you any right in them beyond using them as intended.

What you must not do, and each of these is here because it is a real risk rather than a formality:

If you find a security flaw, tell us/trust/security explains how, and reporting it responsibly is not a breach of this section.

10. Conduct

Treat drivers and other users decently. Do not use the service for anything unlawful, and do not use it to harm, harass or endanger anybody.

We publish an Acceptable Use Policy setting this out in full. It is not yet published, and until it is, nothing in it forms part of this agreement — this section is the whole of what you are agreeing to on conduct. When it publishes we will say so, and a later version of these terms will incorporate it.

11. Suspension and ending access

You may stop using GetZuga at any time, and you can delete your account in the app.

We may suspend or end your access where you have breached this agreement, where an account appears to be compromised or fraudulent, or where we must do so to protect somebody's safety or to comply with the law.

Where we can tell you why, we will. Some suspensions relate to an investigation or to somebody else's safety, and in those cases we may not be able to explain fully.

12. Safety, and what we are responsible for

Report anything unsafe. SOS alerts are recorded and kept as safety evidence, and they are not removed when an account is deleted — an emergency is not the raiser's alone to erase.

What we are responsible for: providing the platform with reasonable care and skill.

What we are not responsible for: the way a driver drives, the condition of a vehicle, or anything else in the driver's performance of the trip — for the trips described in the first part of section 3, where the driver provides the transport. Where section 3's exception applies and the vehicle is ours, this paragraph does not.

What we do not exclude, and cannot:

Where a limitation in these terms goes further than your local law allows, it applies only as far as that law allows, and the rest of this section still stands.

To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost opportunity, or loss arising from something outside our reasonable control.

13. Your responsibility to us

If we suffer a loss because you used the service unlawfully or in breach of this agreement, you are responsible for it.

This is deliberately narrow. It covers your own unlawful acts and your own breach. It does not make you responsible for anything else — not for a driver's conduct, not for another user's, and not for a failure of ours.

14. Things outside our control

We are not in breach of this agreement if we cannot perform because of something outside our reasonable control — among other things a network or power failure, a government act, industrial action, severe weather, or civil unrest.

We will restore the service as soon as we reasonably can.

15. If something goes wrong between us

Tell us first. Most problems are quicker to fix directly than through a court, and section 19 says how to reach us.

Nothing in this section stops you going to court, or to any consumer body your country provides — your Country Schedule names them where they exist. You do not have to talk to us first, and it is not a condition of anything.

16. Changes to these terms

We may change this agreement. Where a change matters to you, we will tell you before it takes effect and, where the law requires it, we will ask you to accept it again.

Each part changes on its own. A change to your Country Schedule affects your market only. A change to this Master Services Agreement affects everyone.

We record which version you accepted, and when. If a change would reduce your rights and you do not accept it, you can stop using the service and delete your account.

17. Transferring this agreement

You cannot transfer your agreement or your account to anybody else.

We may transfer this agreement to another GetZuga company — most likely when we establish a company in a market that was previously served from another one.

Two things are guaranteed if we do. Your rights under this agreement will not be reduced by the transfer, and we will tell you which company you are contracting with afterwards. We are saying this now because it is the honest way to grow into a market, rather than asking everybody to sign a new agreement later.

18. General

If one part of this agreement cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. The part that cannot be enforced applies as far as it lawfully can.

If we do not enforce something immediately, we have not given it up.

This agreement, your Country Schedule and any service terms are the whole agreement between us about your use of GetZuga.

Nobody other than you and us has rights under this agreement.
